Salary: $70K-$80K (commensurate with experience)
Position Summary:
We are seeking a driven and results-oriented Account Manager to join our growing team in the construction industry, focusing on the demountable walls market. In this role, you’ll manage and build client relationships, consult with clients to identify solutions, and coordinate closely with field personnel and support staff to ensure successful project execution.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
-Engage with commercial furniture dealers, general contractors, government clients, end users, and others to understand design requirements and suggest demountable wall solutions
-Work with the estimating department to develop and present proposals, showcasing our products’ benefits
-Manage the full sales cycle—from initial contact through project completion—while collaborating with estimating and installation teams to maintain clear communication and customer satisfaction
-Oversee project timelines and budgets, ensuring both client satisfaction and profitability
-Identify and qualify new leads, developing strategies to convert them into long-term sales
-Prepare and manage all necessary paperwork for accounting, production, personnel, and internal operations
-Coordinate documentation to support project closeouts and submit detailed billing breakouts for in-progress jobs
-Stay informed on industry trends, products, and competitor offerings
Minimum Requirements:
-3-5 years of experience in sales or account management, ideally within construction or architectural products
-Demonstrated success in exceeding sales targets and fostering strong client relationships
-Comprehensive knowledge of demountable wall systems and their applications
-Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
-Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
-Exceptional multitasking, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
Physical Requirements:
-Ability to occasionally lift more than 20 lbs.
