Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Data Entry/Payroll Clerk to join our team located in Dravosburg, Pennsylvania. In this role, you will be primarily tasked with the management and entry of payroll data, specifically for ERAP and union payrolls. This includes the accurate recording of employee hours, processing of payrolls, as well as collaborating with the payroll team to resolve discrepancies and ensure timely payroll processing.
Responsibilities:
• Accurately and efficiently process customer credit applications
• Maintain organized and up-to-date payroll records
• Assist in processing payroll for ERAP and union employees, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations
• Support in managing union payroll processes and reporting requirements
• Enter payroll data, including employee hours, into the payroll system with high accuracy
• Collaborate with the payroll team to resolve discrepancies and ensure timely payroll processing
• Collect and report employee hours, ensuring correct data entry and payroll calculations
• Maintain accurate customer credit records
• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action
• Potentially expand responsibilities to other branches• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
• Experience in data entry and organizing files
• Ability to perform calculations and handle payroll-related tasks
• Strong typing skills
• Experience with email correspondence
• Excellent customer service skills
• Familiarity with 10 key skills
• Proficiency in scanning documents
• Experience with union payroll is a plus
