We are seeking a Data Science and Machine Learning Project Manager (Facility and Utility Management) to support the National Institutes of Health (NIH) in Bethesda, MD. This position is on-site in Bethesda, MD.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Serve as a Project Manager for a data science team supporting NIH's Central Utility Plant (CUP) and Facilities Compliance and Inspection Branch (FCIB).
- Operate within a software development team model implementing modified Agile methodology.
- Manage, create, assign, and monitor tasks using Asana and Jira.
- Collaborate with team members to develop project proposals, timelines, and deliverables.
- Develop the project's intake and ticketing system within Jira.
- Collaborate with leadership to create a project Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for the branch.
- Provide subject matter expertise on special cross-cutting and ad hoc projects, attend special regional, annual and ad hoc meetings and participate on working groups
- Build and support effective communication strategies for the Division and public presentations of the program and its constituent activities.
- Maintain coordination and communication between research operations, program management, project stakeholders, team members and subcontractors
- Creates project in designated project management software and ensure all necessary staff have access.
- Recommend and support routine project management meetings, updates and prepare a variety of status reports and dashboards.
- Assist staff coordinate project management activities, to include routine meetings and development of reports.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum Bachelors degree in computer science, engineering, or related discipline is required.
- Machine Learning Operations (MLOps) development lifecycle experience is required
- Project Management Professional (PMP), preferred
