Hours:37.5 hours/week

Position Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Special Education Teacher (SPED) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be skilled in developing and implementing individualized education programs (IEPs), fostering a positive and supportive classroom environment, and working closely with students, parents, and other educators.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and evaluate Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with students, parents, and school staff.
  • Design and deliver tailored instruction that addresses the unique learning needs of students with disabilities.
  • Use a variety of teaching methods and materials to engage students and promote their academic and social development.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting instructional strategies as needed to ensure student success.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Special Education or a related field.
  • Valid state teaching certification in Special Education.
  • Proven experience working with students with disabilities in a classroom setting.
  • Strong knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best practices.
