Akkodis is seeking aDatabase Developer for a Contract job with a client in Plano TX (Hybrid). You will be responsible for designing and implementing ETL processes, developing complex database procedures, and ensuring data quality through hands-on development, debugging, and performance tuning.

Rate Range: $58/hour to $68/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Database Developer job responsibilities include:

• Designing, developing, testing, and maintaining data warehouse, database, and business intelligence applications.

• Translating business requirements into technical specifications and implementing ETL processes using SQL, Informatica, and Linux shell scripting.

• Developing complex Oracle procedures, functions, and packages to support database applications and DW reporting.

• Performing data analysis, profiling, and ensuring data quality while resolving defects across multiple teams.

• Collaborating with development teams to manage dependencies, set up test cases, and ensure software stability through code reviews and testing.

• Conducting performance tuning, data modeling, and maintaining documentation for new and existing applications.

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Minimum of 8 years of experience with ETL tools like Informatica and 6+ years of professional experience with SQL/PLSQL.

• Strong understanding of data warehousing, anddata architecture, and experience in designing and implementing ETL processes.

• Proficiency in developing complex database procedures and working with large datasets, including knowledge of big data solutions such as Hadoop and Spark.

Pay Details: $58.00 to $68.00 per hour
