Do you have some experience with an Accounts function? Are you seeking a new role that will offer you support for your AAT?
Our client is seeking an Accounts Assistant who they can develop and support, offering support for AAT, this role will be working within a team within the commercial accounts department, so you will gain the opportunity to work within a manufacturing business and gain valuable experience at more bespoke accounts functions which support such a business such as costing, stock analysis, and pricing.
This is a busy accounts function with a supportive team and they wish to bring in an individual who they can offer the opportunity to learn all aspects within a commercial accounts function.
Job Description:
Duties for the Accounts Assistant will include:
- The production of important reports that monitor the performance of the business
- Conducting analysis of counts and spending from the factory
- Analysis of loss data across the factory
- Supporting the production of costs for products for the business
- Supporting with pricing and credit note analysis
- A variety of commercial and financial tasks within the team
- Some accounts experience is essential
- Part AAT would be advantageous although the client will look at someone with experience who wants to embark on their AAT.
- An enthusiastic attitude and a willingness to learn
- Maths and English GSCE – grade 4 or above
- Good MS Office skills in Word and Excel
- Strong, clear communicator
- Someone who can work under supervision but also use their own initiative
Salary: £24,000 Per Annum
