Coulter Elite Resourcing are currently looking for a Procurement Manager to work with one of their well-established and very successful clients who are a company specializing in all aspects of product management, including stock control, quality assurance, managing daily orders, and overseeing logistics functions. Our services include delivering fresh fruit directly from the point of arrival to customer depots or utilizing our facilities as a consolidation point for various category deliveries.

Our prepared fruit division operates from a state-of-the-art facility, offering innovative solutions for prepared fruit snacking and food to go options, catering to the convenience shopping market.

Principle Responsibilities for the Procurement Manager :-

Manage the major suppliers from India, Egypt, Greece

Collaborate with the packhouse to ensure correct product being used and manage stocks.

Help reduce cost and maximise company profitability

Champion, communicate and support the delivery of company initiatives with People team, Finance, Health & Safety, internal functions and customer processes

• Deliver excellent organisational capability through great people. Attract, retain and develop people and ensure concise succession plans are maintained

Person specification:-

• Analytical thinker capable of dealing with complexity and handling multiple tasks
• Experience within the retail environment in Western Europe and using this knowledge and experience to create growth with the Eastern Europe and using this knowledge and experience to create growth with the Eastern European retail environment.
• Has a proven track record of working at senior level and is able to demonstrate experience and knowledge
• A team contributor across the company beyond own area boundaries
• Provides a clear vision, adds value where involved, strong problem evaluation and solution.

This role requires a high degree of personal motivation and resilienceThis is a full time permanent Procurement Manager position, Monday to Friday 8am-5pm , offering an annual salary of £40-60k plus annual company benefits, Hybrid working, free car parking.
