Supervisor

My Client, UK’s leading flooring contractors specializing in commercial flooring, carpeting and tiling is looking for a Supervisor.

They are seeking an experienced Flooring Supervisor to oversee commercial flooring installations, ensuring quality, safety, and timely project completion. The role includes managing a team of installers, coordinating with clients, and liaising with project managers. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of flooring materials such as tiles, vinyl, and hardwood, as well as experience in reading technical drawings and maintaining compliance with safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise flooring installation teams across multiple projects
• Ensure adherence to project timelines, quality standards, and budgets
• Collaborate with clients, contractors, and project managers
• Inspect completed work for compliance with specifications
• Train and mentor installation staff
• Ensure health and safety regulations are met on-site

Requirements:

• CSCS card
• SSSTS or SMSTS
• Proven experience as a Flooring Supervisor or similar role in commercial flooring contracts
• Expertise in a variety of flooring systems (tile, vinyl, hardwood)
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans
• Understanding of safety standards and regulations
• Driver’s license and own reliable transportation
