Job Description

Alchemy Global Talent Solutions is currently working with a moving and relocation company based in Surrey who are looking to recruit a Branch Coordinator.


This is an operations focused role, working closely with the operations manager, responsible for delivering efficient operations and the execution of moves from start to finish, managing resources and resolving any unforeseen issues that may arise.


Key responsibilities for the Branch Coordinator role include, but are not limited to:

  • Serving as the essential liaison between the Crew and the Operations Department and leading the team to guarantee that clients receive high-quality service.
  • Closely collaborating with the Customer Services and Operations Management teams to provide guidance on relocation timetables and plans.
  • Proactively collaborating with the team to anticipate client demands and provide constructive solutions in order to guarantee high service delivery standards.
  • Before and after every move, dispatching, briefing, and debriefing the crew to make sure they have all the equipment needed to do the task at hand.
  • Monitoring equipment, standards, and gate operations for vehicles.
  • Using Moveware to print and distribute job sheets and work tickets, actualizing returned work tickets, and handling any additional administrative tasks as needed.
  • Documenting crew working hours to guarantee data records are correct and WTD hours are followed.
  • To supervise and create load lists to guarantee that cars are ready and loaded.
  • Keeping an eye on crew performance on all jobs, communicating with the teams frequently, offering support, and offering guidance to guarantee that ad hoc concerns and delays are handled well and shared with Move Managers and other pertinent parties.
  • Managing outside labor (contractor and agency workers).
  • To participate in company meetings, weekly and monthly team meetings, conference calls, and meetings with members of the operations teams as needed.
  • Other ad-hoc duties as required.


Skills and Experience Required:

  • Coordination experience in the moving industry required.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Great organisational skills.
  • Capable of working with and supporting multiple teams.
