pobl. is working exclusively with a boutique medical communications agency in their search for a Project Manager to join their UK team on the outskirts of Chester. You could be supporting global, local, and regional accounts in multiple therapy areas and project types, mainly in medical affairs, medical education programmes, and events.

Day-to-day you’ll be…

  • Keeping projects on track: You’ll create, manage, and update project timelines, and manage internal and client status meetings, scheduling, agendas, and status reports
  • Managing project finances: Understanding, managing, and tracking specific project budgets, including all expenses, as well as managing external suppliers
  • Working with the team to deliver great work: You’ll assist with the management and implementation of stand-alone and integrated medcomms events and materials

This role could be perfect for you if you have…

  • MedComms or relevant agency project management experience: Project management experience in medical communications would be ideal, but we’ll consider a few years’ experience in a similar project management role.
  • Super organisation skills: Any role in project management requires supreme organisation. You’ll be able to juggle multiple tasks with absolute accuracy, taking control of your daily schedule and the milestones of the projects you’re working on.
  • An interest in healthcare: All projects that you’re part of will be focused on healthcare products and education that will make a difference to the lives of people with all sorts of conditions—an interest in health science is essential!
  • Experience working with colleagues and clients in different locations: A lot of your meetings will be with people in other parts of the world, so you’ll be comfortable with arranging and attending a lot of Microsoft Teams video calls!
  • A strong preference for hybrid working: Collaborating in person with colleagues is important to our client, as a boutique agency—you will ideally be in the office 3-4 days per week.
