Software Engineer

• Annual Salary: £43,000 - £47,500
• Location: Grimsby (Hybrid - 3 days onsite, 2 days WFH)
• Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

We are looking for a Software Engineer with a strong background in C#, .Net Core, and cloud services to join our team. The role offers a hybrid working model and the opportunity to work on cutting-edge operational software within a leading logistics organisation.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Develop and maintain software applications using C#, .Net Core 3.1, and .Net 6/8.
• Design and implement cloud-based solutions using Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• Work with decoupled architectures and event messaging platforms such as Kafka.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
• Help maintain code quality, organisation, and automation.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Software Engineer.
• Strong knowledge of C#, .Net Core 3.1, and .Net 6/8.
• Proficiency in Amazon Web Services (AWS) and cloud-based solutions.
• Experience with decoupled architectures and event messaging platforms like Kafka.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
