A fantastic opportunity has become available for a Site Supervisor to join the Programmed Industrial Maintenance team based in Newcastle. Working in our team you will be part of a company that cares about your personal wellbeing and safety and encourages flexibility.
About the Role:
- Overtime + Penalty rates available

- Site based Supervisor Role - with opportunity to expand across multiple sites
- Manage and Supervise trade staff, labour hire and subcontractor personnel
- Leading and developing a team
- Supervising mechanical and structural projects, SMP shutdowns and general maintenance activities.
- Responsible for both planned and reactive activities including maintenance on yard machines (conveyors, stacker/ reclaimers and shiploaders), structural maintenance and repair projects.
About you:
- Trade background with Supervisor qualifications/ training and experience
- Significant site experience in the engineering and maintenance industry, operating on high compliance industrial/ mining sites around Newcastle Ports.
- Dedication to achieving overall desired project outcomes in relation to safety, quality and financial results
- Experience including Workshop fabrication, Site Installation, Shutdowns, Piping, SMP, Civil and Construction works
- Hold a disciplined approach to work planning, action and follow up
- Committed to diversity and inclusion
- Takes a pro-active approach to resolving issues and excellent attention to detail.
- An excellent communicator with good written and verbal skills.
- Intermediate MS Office skills - Outlook, Word and Excel
- A commitment to achieving Zero Harm and 100% compliance to KPI's
- Experience with quality systems and compliance
- Attention to detail with an adaptable "can-do" attitude
