The Role


We are currently seeking Riggers to join our Shutdown team at Newmont Boddington from the 4th of November 2024 to 12th of November 2024.


What you need to know:



  • Shutdown Dates: 4th November to 12th November

  • Bus in bus out - BIBO

  • Camp accommodation + meals + travel allowance provided

  • Days and Nights shifts available

  • 12 hour shifts


Qualifications and Experience Required:



  • High Risk Licence - Rigger Advanced (RA) or Rigger Intermediate (RI)

  • Candidates who have obtained their RIIHAN305D Operate a gantry or overhead crane certificate OR have a Crane Bridging (CB) High risk Licence will be preferred for this position

  • Experience in the mining industry (preferred)

  • Nationally Accredited Working at Heights within 3 years

  • Previous mining and/or shutdown experience is preferred but not essential

  • Demonstrated commitment to safety

  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screen

  • Ability to complete online inductions
