About the Role:
Our logistics client is seeking a skilled Training Manager to join their Process & Systems Team in Melbourne.
This role can be based in St Kilda Road or the Western Suburbs.
In this key position, you will be responsible for managing and delivering impactful training programs that support the development of their teams and promote operational excellence across the company.
Working closely with department managers and supervisors, you will identify training needs and implement learning strategies aimed at enhancing the skills and knowledge of both new and existing employees. Your role will be critical in empowering their workforce to perform at their best through engaging training techniques, coaching, and skills development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and delivery of comprehensive training programs for operational systems and general business functions, utilising both online and in-person methods.
- Partner with department heads to assess training needs and develop tailored learning plans to address them effectively.
- Ensure all training activities are accurately logged and tracked in the company's Learning Management System (LMS).
- Monitor training completion for essential competencies, providing regular reports and follow-ups to ensure progress along established learning paths.
- Develop, update, and maintain high-quality training materials that align with company standards.
- Stay informed about the latest trends in workplace training and integrate new methods to keep programs fresh and relevant.
- Design tailored training concepts and development pathways to ensure continuous growth for teams and individuals.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training initiatives through assessments and adjust strategies to improve outcomes.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning, driving productivity through upskilling and professional development.

- Strong organisational skills with great attention to detail.
- Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams to assess training needs and implement effective solutions.
- Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and experience in tracking and reporting on training completion.
