We are currently offering an exciting opportunity for a driven Branch Merch Manager to join our Water Store located in Brendale, Qld. For the successful candidate this role will provide opportunities for personal development and career progression along with uncapped remunerations.

About the opportunity:

Reporting to the Regional Manager, your primary focus will be to lead sales and operational planning for our Brendale branch. This is a hands-on role suited to a candidate with strong sale’s and or management background, who is wanting to take on a challenging rewarding role, offering long term development opportunities within a truly national organization.

You will:

• Have a strong focus upon safety leadership.
• Work closely with retail & trade customers to ensure long-term relationships.
• Develop / coach a culture of teamwork, professionalism, accountability and safety.
• Manage the branch P&L.
• Manage branch activities to ensure Safety, Profitability and Sustainability is our primary focus.
• Manage branch inventory to maximise sales and profitability of the branch.
• Focus upon continuous improvements in all we do.
• Maintain presentation of the store, branch assets and physical presence continually at the highest standard.

About You:

• Be a sales hunter with the ability to identify new opportunities across all market segments.
• Be a lateral thinker, a solutions provider, a manager who leads by example, looks outside of the norm.
• Exposure to Water, Irrigation or the Agriculture industry as well as retail activities is desirable.
• You will be self-motivated to implement improvements in all areas of sales and store operations.
• You will demonstrate success developing solid long-term partnerships with clients and other key stakeholders
• Leadership and operational management experience across B2B, B2C channels.
• People management experience.
