Job Description

Our client is seeking a Claims Coordinator to join their Maintenance team in Burswood. This is a temporary ongoing opportunity.



Start: ASAP


Location: Burswood


Length: 3 month assignment


Hours: Full time - Mon - Fri (38 hours per week)


Hourly Rate: $35 + Super - depending on experience



The Role


The Claims Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the processing and submission of claims is completed in an accurate and timely manner.
The successfully delivery of services will in turn lead to improved profitability, contract retention rates and customer satisfaction ratings.


Responsibilities:



  • Ensures administrative and support processes are adhered in line with quality systems and processes.

  • Ensures all administrative processes are completed in a timely and accurate manner.

  • Ensures all information and documentation is safely stored in accordance with Policy, taking in to account the confidentiality and security requirements of the contract.

  • Generates reports as required and meets specified timeframes and quality standards.

  • Processes invoices, claims and job orders to ensure compliance with standards and seeks approval in line with contract requirements.

  • Signs off completed work orders and submits claims in accordance with policies and procedures.

  • Maintains an effective filing system.

  • Provides administrative support for projects as needed.

  • Supports the sustainability initiatives and programs implemented.

  • Provides feedback and participates in continuous improvement initiatives to assist the Manager improve results in accordance with contractual obligations.

  • Supports cultural initiatives and programs implemented.

  • Actively identifies hazards in the workplace and assists in mitigating / eliminating them.

  • Ensures that required compliance based activities are undertaken in a timely and satisfactory manner.


Skills Required for this role:



  • Strong organisational capabilities with attention to accuracy and detail

  • Ability to multi task

  • Sound computer skills and proficiency with data entry

  • Sound written and verbal communication skills

  • Intermediate Office skills in Word, Excel, and Microsoft Outlook

  • Experience with Navision business management software or equivalent.
