Job Description
In this pole, your focus will be on conceptual designs, in-house development, and the integration of third-party systems. Collaborating with experts in robotics, perception, machine learning, and mining autonomy, you will drive high-quality improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sensor System Development: Design, develop, and validate sensor systems for data collection in operational environments.
- Software Integration: Integrate third-party and in-house developed software components (using technologies like ROS2 and DDS) to enhance perception systems.
- Algorithm Development: Collaborate with the innovations team to create algorithms and control logic tailored to project needs.
- Data Conversion: Contribute to efficient and reusable data conversion functionalities.
- Requirements Definition: Engage in defining and reviewing both functional and non-functional requirements and software architecture.
- Code Review: Conduct code and solution design reviews to ensure adherence to software quality standards.
Skills & Behaviors:
- Software Development Expertise: Proficient in C++ and Python for robotic systems, with experience in ROS2 and DDS frameworks.
- Control Systems Knowledge: Experience in developing control systems for robotics or mechatronic systems.
- Hands-On Experience: Familiarity with sensor systems, machine learning, and mining autonomy technologies.
- Organizational Skills: Strong ability to manage time and priorities effectively.
- Attention to Detail: High accuracy in code and documentation.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication for effective collaboration.
- Problem-Solving: Proactive and creative approach to challenges.
- Independence: Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Adaptability: Flexibility to adjust to changing priorities and deadlines.
