About the role

Role: Senior Geologist

In this role, you will:

• Postgraduate in Applied Geology or equivalent

Work Experience

• At least three years of mining industry experience which should include at least 10 to 12 years' experience in geological modelling & at least 5 year on-field on-site experience.


• Exposure to on-field exploration process management would be an added advantage.


• 
  

  Proficient with the use of the Microsoft Suite of software (Excel, Word).

  
  

  Experience in metals and coal deposits is preferable.

  
  Technical Skills

• Exploration planning & supervision, Preparation of geological model, preparation of geological report, contractual awareness, quality control, beneficiation, reserving and reconciliation, problem solving, safety approach, hazard management
