The Role


Programmed Energy & Resources is currently seeking an experienced Recruitment & Mobilisation Officer to join our team and to further your skills and ability within the mining sector.


This is an excellent opportunity to work in our fast paced and dynamic industry. Working with a close knit team, this role will enable you to further develop your skills within the Mining & Resources industry sectors with exposure to multiples sites and disciplines.


This role is a 40hr week, Monday - Friday located in our new office in Welshpool.


The main responsibilities of this roles are:



  • Establishing effective relationships with internal and external key stakeholders

  • Source & pipeline talent from multiple channels

  • High volume blue collar recruitment for shutdowns and labour hire across Western Australia

  • Source new candidates and grow existing talent pool.

  • Maintaining mobilisation trackers

  • Ensuring qualifications for candidates and potential employees are obtained and current

  • Manage the on-boarding for any new employees, including gathering/checking tickets and guiding employees through pre-employment requirements inc. D&A testing.

  • Ensure all employees have a consistent and positive recruitment experience


Skills and Experience:



  • 2+ years experience within Recruitment/Mobilisation for top tier mining companies

  • Competent in use of MS Office

  • Motivated, passionate and have good initiative

  • Strong communication skills with an ability to establish effective working relationships with a variety of people at different levels both internally and externally

  • Ability to work under pressure and multi task

  • Strong computer and administration skills

  • MyPass / Page Up / Fast Track System Exposure (Advantageous)

  • A demonstrated ability to work independently to organise and prioritise demands, handle multiple complex tasks simultaneously, set and meet deadlines and follow-through within a fast-paced environment with multiple and competing demands
