Job Description
TALENT Tree , licensed firm specialized in the recruitment and selection of personnel, is looking for a qualified profile to join a highly innovative company working in the Life Sciences sector in the role of: Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Controller The candidate, reporting to the CFO, will handle the following activities: Manage and organise a cost accounting department, maintain analytical accounting (cost centre/project) and reporting system; Assist in the preparation of company’s business model, budget, forecasts and actual vs. budget comparative analysis. Update the business model based on company developments. Assist the CFO and Finance Manager in the drawing up quarterly and year-end financial statement. Organizes the activities associated with the drawing up of documents, gathers the necessary information to be included in the documents. For the more relevant R&D agreements, FP&A has been taking ownership to analyze and review those agreements, working with colleagues responsible for related R&D, Quality and CMC, Clinical Affairs activities. Prepare excel files and, monthly, review the status of the work, the % of completion, match the invoices with purchase orders and agreements, collect support documentation and reconcile balance with vendors. Assist CFO in the preparation of the necessary material for meetings with External Auditors, statutory Auditors and Board of Directors. To be successful in this role the candidate will need: Education : Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Industrial Management Engineering or related fields. Work experience : at least 4 years of experience in controlling or financial analysis, financial operations in a Company. Language skills : good knowledge of written and oral English (level B2/C1); Computer skills : good knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel); Experience using multiple tools including Oracle, SAP, Power BI, Hyperion, among others is a plus. Additional skills and competencies: Good organizational and multi-tasking skills. Good oral and written communication skills. A positive, optimistic, action-oriented individual with a ‘can do’ and team player mentality. Demonstrated analytical and communication skills. Good attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Ability to organize work effectively and meet deadlines.
