We are offering a long-term, full-time position as Logistics & Indirect Purchasing Director. She/he will have the opportunity for regular international travel, getting in contact with different cultural backgrounds, industrial and economic realities. If you are an open-minded, creative person with strong leadership and team-building capabilities, excellent negotiating and influencing skills, able to take important business decisions and to interface with senior management internally and externally. In detail you will: Lead the teams of indirect and logistics purchasing. Build and foster strong relationships with key stakeholders from sales, commercial clusters, marketing, logistics and industrial operations. Define, in line with company and purchasing direction, the regional Indirect & Logistics Purchasing strategy and set team targets accordingly. Ensure proper control of the indirect and logistics spend in the sector to secure sustainable financial results. Create an environment where the whole Purchasing team is increasing its know-how and competencies. Develop proper Supplier Relationship Management methods. Encourage and follow up on implementation and deployment of digital transformation in his area. Foster the introduction of new methods and help improve reporting precision. Take a strategic and medium-term view on the entire components and finished goods distribution network to identify opportunities to maximize competitive advantages. Supervise key purchasing projects to deliver savings and fulfill internal customers’ and consumers’ needs. All this while keeping Electrolux values and priorities in check. Who you are: Engineering or Business Degree. 4-8 years of proven Purchasing &/or supply chain experience at international level and in a complex matrix environment. Demonstrated leadership skills. Business understanding – market knowledge in the area of work. Ability and experience to work in a dynamic, multicultural environment. Ability to shape a vision and communicate appropriately. Self-starter who can work effectively with minimal supervision. Ability to think and operate on a strategic level. Fluent in English; any other language is an asset. Where you’ll be: You’ll be based in an international context in the office with other colleagues of the Purchasing team in Porcia (PN) or in Susegana (TV).
