Senior Java Developer/Lead Java Developer - Quarkus

Role & Responsibilities : - Work closely with the team and our customers to understand the use cases in order to ship the platform. Ship new features weekly or even daily, and work closely with our customers to address their user questions and issues. - Diving into loosely defined problem statements and finding your own path forward - Work closely with a cross-functional team and our customers to understand the use cases for the offerings we are building. - Work closely with the team to build and deploy the core offerings. You'll be a fit if you have : - 8 years of full stack/backend engineering experience, with Java and related technologies (it's a plus if you have worked with Quarkus, Kafka, Solace, Redis, Aerospike, Cloud- AWS/Google/Azure) - Strong expertise in Java is must - Hands-on experience with Microservices architecture - Proficiency in Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration. - In-depth understanding of API security principles and implementation. - A developer-first mindset - engineers who advocate for an inclusive experience for all prospective user groups of the offerings. - You should enjoy collaborating - you will be building products for which driving adoption is as important as the engineering, and so taking your teams and customers along is important. Big plus if have : - Experience with OpenShift and Quarkus. - Knowledge of Redis and experience with ELK stack. - Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). - Understanding of Clean Architecture principles - Good to have - experience in building APIs, experience working with enterprises, experience in financial services. Education : - Should be Bachelors in Technology ( BTECH) - If the candidate has a B.Sc. or BCA degree, an MCA degree is mandatory. (ref:hirist.tech)
