Integration Architect - MS Dynamics 365/ERP

Role Description : This is a contract hybrid role for a Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP Integration Architect located in Bengaluru, with flexibility for remote work. The role involves day-to-day tasks such as communication, business process analysis, consulting, solution architecture, and cloud computing within the integration domain. Role & Responsibilities : Solution Architecture & Design : - Lead the design and implementation of integration solutions between Microsoft Dynamics 365 and external platforms including Azure services, EDI systems, 3PL providers, banking platforms, Power Apps, and AP automation tools. - Define integration patterns, architecture standards, and best practices for the organization to ensure secure, scalable, and efficient data flow across systems. - Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to gather integration requirements and provide technical guidance for optimized solutions. - Create high-level architecture diagrams, technical designs, and detailed specifications for integration points. Integration Development & Implementation : - Develop custom integration solutions using technologies such as Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Service Bus, Power Automate, and other appropriate tools. - Implement EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) solutions for seamless transaction processing with partners, vendors, and third-party logistics (3PL) systems. - Integrate banking platforms for automated transaction processing and reconciliation. - Design and implement Power Apps integrations for custom business applications and workflows that interact with Dynamics 365 data. Integration Management : - Oversee the end-to-end delivery of integration projects, including managing timelines, resources, and ensuring successful deployment. - Establish and maintain APIs, data connectors, and middleware to enable smooth integration between Dynamics 365 and external systems. - Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve any integration-related issues to ensure the stability of data flows between systems. - Optimize performance, security, and data governance in all integration solutions, ensuring compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements. Collaboration & Support : - Work closely with cross-functional teams including business analysts, developers, infrastructure teams, and external partners to ensure integration goals are met. - Provide ongoing technical support and enhancements to existing integrations. - Train and mentor junior team members on integration best practices and technologies. Continuous Improvement : - Stay updated on emerging integration technologies, especially within the Microsoft Azure and Dynamics 365 ecosystems, and recommend new tools or processes that enhance business efficiency. - Continuously improve existing integration solutions and processes to meet changing business needs and technological advancements. Qualifications : Education : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. Master's degree is a plus. Experience : - 7 years of experience in software integration with at least 3-5 years of experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 integration projects. - Proven experience integrating Azure services (e., Logic Apps, Functions, Service Bus, API Management) with enterprise applications. - Hands-on experience with EDI standards and protocols (e., X12, EDIFACT) and integrating with third-party logistics (3PL) systems. - Strong experience integrating banking systems for payment processing, transaction management, and reconciliation. - Experience developing Power Apps applications and integrating them with Dynamics 365 and other systems. - Experience with AP Automation solutions is a strong plus. Technical Skills : - Strong knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 architecture, APIs, and integration points. - Expertise in Azure Integration Services (Logic Apps, API Management, Service Bus, Azure Functions, Data Factory). - Familiarity with EDI protocols and middleware solutions. - Proficiency in working with REST/SOAP APIs, JSON, XML, and other integration technologies. - Knowledge of security standards such as OAuth2, SAML, and data encryption techniques. - Understanding of SQL and database management for integration purposes. Soft Skills : - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously. - Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions. Preferred Certifications : - Microsoft Certified : Dynamics 365 Power Platform Solution Architect. - Microsoft Certified : Azure Solutions Architect Expert. - Any relevant certifications in EDI, AP Automation, or related technology.
