Quantity Surveyor

I have an opportunity to join a growing Civil Engineering Surfacing Contractor for a Quantity Surveyor based in Collingham.

Key responsibilities for this Quantity Surveyor role:

• Responsible for all commercial duties for the company ranging from Pricing projects to managing the contracts. Duties will range from:
• Quoting and Pricing – proactively speaking with suppliers
• Data Entry
• Invoicing
• Capturing early Warnings
• Forecasting to the board
• Managing accounts
• Estimating
• Working on Framework contracts to a schedule of rates alongside working on projects ranging in value from £2.5k to £250k

The successful Quantity Surveyor will play a pivotal role in helping drive the continued growth plans of the company and they will have the opportunity to make the role their own.

Experience Required for this Quantity Surveyor role:

• 3 – 5 years commercial experience working within the Civil Engineering / Construction field.
• Relevant degree qualified – This is desirable, still open to candidates who have the experience but not necessarily the degree.
• Someone who is able to work in a fast paced environment and manage multiple projects at once.

Package offered for this Quantity Surveyor role:

• £35,000 to £45,000 depending on experience
