Locum Commercial Contracts Lawyer – West Midlands – 3 Month Contract – Remote Working – Up to £60 per hour Umbrella

Venn Group’s specialist legal team is currently recruiting for a skilled Locum Commercial Contracts Lawyer to join a reputable Local Authority based in the West Midlands. The role is for an initial 3-month contract with the possibility of extension. This is a fully remote position, offering flexibility to work from home.

Role Overview:

As a Locum Commercial Contracts Lawyer, you will be responsible for managing a diverse caseload. Your duties will include:

• Handling Section 75 agreements, Adult Social Care (ASC) contracts, and healthcare contracts.
• Advising on procurement matters, commercial contracts, and some construction-related work.
• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts, ensuring compliance with legal and policy requirements.
• Providing legal guidance on public procurement processes and ensuring adherence to relevant regulations.

Requirements:

• Qualified Solicitor, Barrister, or Legal Executive with a strong background in commercial contracts.
• Proven experience in handling Section 75 agreements, healthcare, and ASC contracts, as well as procurement and commercial matters.
• Familiarity with construction-related legal work is beneficial.
