Role Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated person who is passionate about hospitality and conservation to join our growing team. This role is perfect for someone who is excited about being involved in all aspects of the business, from day-to-day operations to strategic planning and brand development. Key Responsibilities:
Operations Management: Remotely oversee the daily operations of our kabns, ensuring a seamless and exceptional guest experience. This includes managing changeovers, coordinating logistics, maintaining high standards of service and constantly improving the guest experience.
Marketing and Branding: Support marketing efforts to promote Kabn’s unique offerings. Contribute to content creation, social media engagement and community outreach to build brand awareness.
Guest Relations: Foster strong relationships with guests, addressing any issues promptly and effectively to ensure their stay exceeds expectations. Gather and analyse feedback to continuously improve the guest experience.
Business Development: Identify and pursue new opportunities for growth and expansion across Scotland. Develop and implement strategies to enhance our market presence and reach new customers.
Sustainability Initiatives: Champion our commitment to sustainability by promoting eco-friendly practices across all aspects of the business. Collaborate with partners and suppliers to enhance our regenerative efforts.
Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 3 years experience within the hospitality or tourism industry. If you work in any service industry and you are passionate about travel and hospitality and looking for a change of career, please still apply! We think of hospitality as a much broader category than just hotels and restaurants.
Skills:
- Passion for hospitality, sustainability and environmental stewardship.
- Able to create engaging, on-brand content across various social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, etc.) and write compelling content for social media posts, emails and guest communications.
- Experience in developing and executing marketing campaigns that resonate with target audiences.
- Adept at using Excel/Google Sheets for tracking data, managing inventories and creating reports.
- Strong attention to detail and focus on quality.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Strong organisational skills.
- Able to work independently and take initiative as well as work as part of a team.
