Initial 6-Month Contract

I have a client within the Automotive sector who is looking for a Supplier Quality & Development Engineer with a strong background in Automotive. The role will allow you to oversee and manage a key Supplier Relationship with a heavy focus on PPAP's.

Main Responsibilities:

• Conduct Supplier/Part Risk Assessments and implement risk mitigation strategies.
• Report supplier progress to the Purchasing and SQA Program team, covering open issues, PPAP part pedigree for each build phase, and delivery forecasts vs. actuals.
• Oversee PPAP part approvals to align with the delivery plan.
• Manage the Non-PPAP part Concession process to ensure a "Plan for Every Part" is established for builds.
• Ensure Quality & Capacity Verification meets MDP targets.
• Lead resolution of major open issues, ensuring Supplier Senior Management is actively engaged in the process.
