Job Description

Stock Controller – Sheffield – Competitive Salary

Elevation Recruitment Group are proud to be working with an established and long-standing manufacturer based in Sheffield who are looking to recruit a Stock Controller to join their team.


This newly created role which has come about through growth, will see you working within a small team under the support and guidance of the Planning Manager.


Stock Controller duties:

  • Ensuring diligent monitoring of material levels, stock inventory and WIP value and levels
  • Own the stock taking process reporting and resolving any discrepancies
  • Work closely with the Operations Planning Manager to meet the material needs of the Production department
  • Fully understand material delivery dates and supply chain constraints against the production plan
  • Raise sub-contract purchase orders and liaise with the suppliers, identifying any potential delivery issues that may affect the production plan and communicate to sales/production accordingly
  • Ensure key performance indicators are reviewed and improvement plans are created to improve overall performance
  • Develop a customer focused, pro-active function within the business which supports both commercial and operational teams in achieving company goals and targets


Hours: 8:30am – 4:30pm Monday – Friday (1-hour lunch)
