Job Description: What you'll be doing: Oversee the project design to ensure compliance with its objectives Programme and manage the design process at tender, preferred bidder and construction stages, operating as a manager and influencer Proactively manage the appointed Consultants/Subcontractors throughout design development Review and implement the Employers requirements in a cost effective manner Manage Design and Commercial Risk whilst maximising all value engineering opportunities Ensure designs meet all necessary statutory and regulatory approvals including Planning Conditions, Building Control and BREEAM Co-ordinate BIM model design and manage clash detection Engage with the project team and CDM Coordinator to avoid all health and safety risks Adhere to the company Health & Safety, Quality and Environmental Policy Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending training Maintain positive and productive working relationships with colleagues To always represent and implement an excellent Public Relations and professional image of HBL to our clients, design teams, general public and within HBL Any other duties within reason and capability associated with this role.
