Hybrid working - 3 Days per week office-based

Salary up to £80,000 Per annum + Car allowance + Bonus, Healthcare, Pension & Holiday

This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious Senior Buyer to join a global FMCG leader on a fixed-term basis!

You'll work with a dynamic team in a top-tier procurement function, gaining autonomy over direct (raw materials/ingredients) spend from day one. With a global scope, you'll engage in diverse, high-impact projects, collaborating with major stakeholders and household names on multi-million-pound tenders. Key Requirements:

• Proven Strategic Sourcing Expertise: Experience in driving value, cost savings, and process improvements through strategic procurement initiatives.
• Direct Spend Management in FMCG: Strong background in overseeing direct raw materials/ingredients procurement (ideally £100 M + spend), aligning with business goals, and optimizing supply chains.
• Ambitious and Growth-Oriented: Motivated to grow and advance in a dynamic, fast-paced team environment.
• Strong Negotiation & Supplier Management: Skilled in negotiating contracts and building strong supplier relationships for optimal outcomes.
• Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze data and deliver innovative solutions to procurement challenges.
• Collaborative in Fast-Paced Settings: Effective team player who thrives under pressure and manages multiple priorities.
