We have an urgent requirement with one of our clients', a Indian MNC and a market leader in the airlines industry, a leading provider of airlines software across the globe; having one of the best talented product development teams in Kerala; the details of which are as follows: THE COMPANY : Our client is a product development company for the airlines industry and is a leader in the NDC space. Headquartered in India they have local presence in different regions including Japan, Hong Kong, China, South Korea, Middle East, Africa, UK, Europe, and Americas. Their solution enables travel service providers to establish direct connectivity with airlines bypassing legacy distribution channels. It will provide travellers a fully transparent travel experience by allowing them to take informed decisions comparing product offers from different suppliers against a wide range of attributes. DESIGNATION : JAVA DEVELOPER TECH STACK : Java 8, JEE, Spring Framework, REST, SOAP, Maven, Junit, JDBC, SQL, Git, Jmeter, Tomcat, JBoss, HTML5 EXPERIENCE : 4-8 Yrs relevant experience. NATURE OF JOB : Remote / Hybrid. LOCATION : Infopark, Kochi, Kerala. JOB DESCRIPTION : Our client is looking for server-side developers with 4 to 8 years of experience who will be responsible for building Java applications. This includes anything between complex groups of back-end services and their client-end (desktop and mobile) counterparts. Your primary responsibility will be to develop these applications, and to cooperate with the rest of the team working on different layers of the infrastructure. Thus, a commitment to collaborative problem solving and product quality is essential. Will surely enjoy the challenges that comes along and will be rewarded equally. RESPONSIBILITIES : - Translate application storyboards and use cases into functional applications. - Build and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Java code. - Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the applications. - Identify bottlenecks/ bugs and devise solutions to these problems. DESIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES : - Proficient in Java (1.8 and above) with focus on writing readable and maintainable code. - Knowledge of object-oriented design principles. - Proficient in Spring framework. Spring Boot knowledge is an added advantage. - Comfortable with Git commands. - Basic understanding of build tools like Maven and Gradle. - Familiarity with performance / load testing tools such as Jmeter. - Strong sense of ownership to make sure features are adding value to customers.
