Pre-Construction Manager (AMP7)

Location: Warwickshire (with site travel)

Job Type: Part-time (2 days per week) (Open to increase working arrangement in the future)

Contract Role: Initial 3-month contract, open to extension

Pay Rate is open for negotiation

Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Pre-Construction Manager to oversee build-only wastewater projects up to £5M. The role involves managing external design consultants, ensuring construction buildability, creating cost-effective and efficient designs that follow the best / most suitable construction practices.

The role with suit candidates who have worked as a Construction Manager or similar, for a Main Contractor, with experience delivering wastewater (or clean water) upgrade projects, such as works on Wastewater Treatment Works / Sewage Treatment Works and Water Treatment Works.

You will primarily work on wastewater projects initially, with future opportunities to transition to clean water treatment projects.

Skills:

• Experience in managing external design consultants.
• Knowledge of construction buildability of wastewater treatment projects / upgrades.
• Ability to create cost-effective and efficient designs.
• Familiarity with best practices in construction and design.
• Experience in wastewater and clean water treatment projects.
• Strong project management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to travel to project sites as required.
• Experience working on AMP7 upgrade projects.
• Experience with Tier 1 contractors.
