Job Description
We are seeking a proactive and organised JR Facilities Assistant to join our London team. This role is essential for ensuring the smooth operation of our office, making sure that everything is safe, efficient, and well-maintained.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing Supplies: Keep track of and replenish office supplies, including stationery and kitchen essentials.
- Health & Safety Support: Assist with implementing safety policies, conduct routine safety checks, and maintain required documentation.
- Meeting Room Setup: Ensure meeting rooms are properly arranged with furniture and AV equipment, and kept clean and presentable.
- Mail Management: Sort and distribute incoming mail and handle outgoing mail, including preparing documents for courier services.
- Event Support: Help coordinate internal events, ensuring logistics are in place and the office is prepared.
- Service Contracts: Monitor contracts for facility-related services, making sure they are current and services are delivered as agreed.
Experience and Skills:
- Previous experience in facilities or office management, preferably in a professional services environment.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Basic knowledge of building systems and facilities management.
