Civil/ Structural Engineer (Lead, Principal, Senior) - Glasgow

Scantec’s Engineering team is partnering with one of the leaders in complex infrastructure programs across the utilities and nuclear sector to recruit a Senior, Lead, or Principal Civil Structural Engineer for its Glasgow site.

The Civil Structural Engineer role comes with a salary of up to £70,000, a great pension package of up to 8% from the client, car allowance, and other benefits.

Reporting to the Project Manager, you will:

• Determine the functional requirements and stakeholder needs for the assigned project.
• Oversee contractor engineering support for the project.
• Assist in the project optioneering process.
• Review and approve project drawings and documentation.
• Manage detailed design activities in compliance with HMNB (Clyde) standards.
• Conduct technical assessments and approvals of contractors’ work instructions, method statements, and risk assessments.
