Head of Construction Delivery (ED) – Riyadh, KSA

We are conducting a confidential executive search on behalf of a KSA mega development project. This ambitious initiative is set to redefine the industry and create a world-class destination for visitors. We are seeking an exceptional leader to join our clients’ team as the Head of Construction Delivery.

This role suits candidates from a construction delivery background and have been hands-on leading large-scale complex projects from start to finish. Tenure matters to our client, so preference will be given to candidates who have a track record of seeing projects through their entire lifecycle.

Location: Riyadh, KSA

Key Responsibilities:

• Leadership: Provide strategic direction and leadership to ensure the successful delivery of all project phases, from conception to completion.
• Project Management: Oversee large-scale project management activities, ensuring alignment with timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including government agencies, contractors, and partners, to drive project success.
• Operational Excellence: Implement best practices in project delivery, risk management, and operational efficiency.
• Team Development: Build and lead a high-performing delivery team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
• Innovation: Drive innovative approaches to project delivery, leveraging cutting-edge technologies and methodologies.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 25 years of experience in executive delivery roles within large-scale, complex construction and real estate projects.
• Leadership: Proven track record of leading large and diverse teams and managing multifaceted projects in dynamic environments.
• Expertise: Deep understanding of project management methodologies, risk management, and operational best practices.
• Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
• Education: An advanced degree in engineering, construction management, business administration, or a related field is preferred. MBA will be considered an asset.
