Junior Credit Controller

Elevation Recruitment Group Accountancy & Finance have an excellent opportunity for an ambitious, enthusiastic Credit Controller, to join a key client based in the Goole area as they look to expand their busy finance function! This is initially a 3 month contract position however there is definite potential for extension or permanency, working on a hybrid basis (2 days WFH, 3 days office).

This is a fantastic role in a fast paced environment, where you can really get stuck into the duties and have full autonomy of your role.

Duties & Responsibilities will include:

• Chasing overdue / aged debt via telephone and e-mail
• Establishing and building strong relationships with your customer-base to ensure prompt payment and efficient query resolution
• Maintain a clean ledger, minimise overdue debt
• Pro-actively manage customer and colleague relationships including all queries through to resolution

Person Specification:

• A desire to work within Credit Control
• Customer service / collections experience
• IT Literate
• Good attention to detail
• Studying towards AAT (not essential)

Salary up to £23k depending on experience.
