Senior Legal Counsel

With a focus on innovation, customer satisfaction, and ethical operations, they are seeking a skilled Legal Counsel to join their team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, providing legal support across various aspects of the business.

The Role:

The Legal Counsel will be responsible for managing the company’s legal matters, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and offering strategic legal advice to support business objectives. Working closely with internal teams such as marketing, finance, sales, real estate, and C-suite, the successful candidate will provide practical, commercially-focused legal guidance.

• Advise on a wide range of commercial legal issues, including contracts, consumer rights, data protection, and regulatory compliance.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts with suppliers, partners, and other stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with consumer protection laws, GDPR, and other relevant regulations.
• Support intellectual property matters, including trademarks and brand protection.
• Manage relationships with external legal counsel for specialist advice or litigation matters.
• Develop and implement internal policies to ensure legal and regulatory compliance.
• Keep the business informed of changes in relevant laws and regulations.
• Assist with dispute resolution and customer complaints where legal input is required.

Candidate Profile:

• Qualified solicitor in England and Wales (4+ years PQE).
• Proven experience in commercial law, preferably within a B2C business or related sectors.
• Strong understanding of general commercial matters, privacy and compliance.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple tasks, offering clear and actionable legal advice to non-legal stakeholders.
