Role Duties:
- Act as stated in the NEC 4 contract and in a spirit of mutual trust and respect.
- Conduct Tests and inspections of the Works for compliance with the Scope.
- Attend Factory Acceptance Testing and Site Acceptance Testing or nominate a suitable substitute.
- Communicate and issue any documents as required by Contract [ECI, ECC & short form]
- Notify Defects and carry out searches.
- Take account of Defects at Completion and the defects date.
- Mark for payment purposes Equipment, Plant and Materials outside the
- working area.
- Advise the Project Manager of any concerns or issues relating to the Contractor’s work or performance.
- Keep Accurate records to support commercial. [Daily diary, etc]
- Manage DIO site-based Records through document control.
- Monitor the Contractor’s Health & Safety whilst on site.
- Attend safety meetings in accordance with the DIO HSE management plan schedule.
- Review and comment on the Contractor’s Test & Commissioning documentation.
- Manage the commissioning team workload and output.
- Preparing statistical reports on Quality performance
- Liaise and consult with base personnel and other stakeholders throughout project life cycle to help achieve an efficient and effective project delivery.
- Support project optioneering process
- Liaise and consult with site-based personnel and other stakeholders throughout project life cycle to ensure efficient and effective project delivery.
- Supporting the capture and tracking of Lessons Learned through SharePoint.
- Identifying and communicate lessons learned though the project lifecycle.
- Supporting the capture and tracking of Quality KPI’s and statistics
- Assist the contractors in navigating the base permit systems.
- Ensure Contractors training records/certification has been passed to DC and the base Ap’s as required by their operations.
Requirements:
- Excellent knowledge of NEC4 contracts and an understanding of CDM and Health and Safety.
- You will have exceptional attention to detail and a collaborative approach to problem solving.
- ONC/OND or equivalent in Civil Engineering or related discipline
- Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS)
- Excellent working knowledge of NEC4 contracts
- CITB CSCS Gold card
- Previous experience working ONR/DNR sites
- HNC/HND or greater in Civil Engineering or related discipline
- CITB CSCS Black card
- NEC4 Supervisor accreditation
- First Aid certificate
- IOSH Managing Safely
