What sort of work?We have an exciting opportunity to join our growing IT team as a Software Analyst in our Exeter office.
In this role you will be responsible for developing, enhancing and maintaining software solutions for our various legal systems as well as case, knowledge and document management systems.
This will include:
- Developing software solutions using SQL, .NET, Blazor, C#, Powershell, HTML/Javascript/CSS, Python and/or Power Platform tools.
- Enhancing, maintaining and supporting existing software systems and applications.
- Leading and collaborating on business software development initiatives, liaising with the business and colleagues on the full project lifecycle ultimately delivering high-quality, functional and optimised products to the business.
- Performing trials, testing and quality checks to ensure the adherence to high quality standards, functionality and optimisation.

Who are we looking for?We are looking for somebody who will understand our values and will thrive in our culture. The role is based in our Exeter office and the ideal candidate will have:
- At least 2-3 years of programming experience.
- Proficiency in some of the following: SQL, .NET, Blazor, C#, Powershell, HTML/Javascript/CSS and/or Python.
- Experience of consuming and writing RESTful APIs.
- Experience working with Microsoft technologies such as Sharepoint, SSRS and Power Platform tools.
- Ability to understand business issues and produce solutions.
- Exposure to Large Language Modules and Artificial Intelligence would be advantageous.
- Exposure to/working with one or more key legal systems such as Aderant Expert, Intapp platforms, Linetime case management and iManage document management would also be advantageous.
Other skills required include:
- Excellent interpersonal skills and effective communicator.
- Problem solving skills.
- A good team player.
- Capable of working under pressure and to deadlines.
