Job Description

Location: Central Sheffield (with 2 days remote working)

Salary: Up to £39,000 per annum

Hours: 37.5 hours, Monday – Friday

Contract: Until January 2026


We are recruiting for an experienced Supply Chain Process Leader for a global leader in advanced manufacturing. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic team in Sheffield, playing a key role in managing vital supply chain activities. The successful candidate will handle purchase orders, supply chain forecasting, and risk management, while also coordinating logistics, ensuring import/export compliance, and supporting commercial negotiations.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Manage direct procurement orders and track progress
  • Obtain and evaluate quotations from external sub-contractors
  • Oversee Import and Export Control processes, ensuring accurate documentation
  • Handle customer invoicing and consumables stock management
  • Negotiate commercial terms for consumable parts and services
  • Arrange logistics to support supply chain operations
  • Provide administrative support for quality archiving and general operations


Candidate Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of production planning and supply chain processes
  • Experience in manufacturing environments
  • Solid commercial acumen with proven negotiation skills
  • Knowledge of procurement and supply chain processes
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
