Irwin M&E is driven by values based on loyalty, safety, innovation and success Job Specification Position: Electrical Contracts Supervisor Department: Electrical Division Reporting to: Electrical Contracts Manager Status of post:Full-Time Permanent Salary: Remuneration Package will be competitive and in line with experience Job Description The role of the Electrical Contracts Supervisor will be pivotal to Irwin M&Es ongoing growth and success in procuring a long-term contract. Full training and development would be provided with this role so would be the perfect opportunity for an experienced electrician looking to take the next step in their career. The job role will include: A full-time post, working 39 hours per week Managing a team of electricians, electrical assistants and apprentices Controlling the quality of electrical installation work Providing support with planning & programming of work to the Contracts Manager Assisting with estimates and measures for new and current MTC contracts Auditing of ongoing works for quality and H&S compliance Liaise with clients and attend client meetings Carrying out work according to Irwin M&E policies and procedures Ensuring all relevant working practices comply with the statutory Health & Safety (NI) Order Company van and mobile telephone is included Essential Skills & Experience Time served as an Electrician C&G Level 3 NVQ in Electro Technical Services or equivalent IEE Wiring Regulations 18th Edition Ability to lone work and be self-motivated Competent to lead a team of skilled engineers Good H&S knowledge Desirable Skills & Experience Experience of EICR (EICR) Testing H&S qualification to the level of CSR Gold or equivalent Previous experience of leading a team Ability to use IT including Word, Excel & Office Security clearances desirable e.g. CTC/Access NI Driving Licence As part of the Day-to-Day nature of this demanding and exciting role it is of equal importance that the candidate: Is able to discuss and promote other niche services with clients and consultants that Irwin M&E can provide that would maximise opportunities Shows ability to manage and deal with multi-tasking and heavy workloads, so prioritising is of importance Be willing to attend seminars and courses where required Be aware of and work within Irwins guidelines and Helpdesk procedures The Company Offers Ongoing training and development opportunities with a personalised training plan to allow career development to an Electrical Contracts Manager Working alongside experts in their field Health cash plan including compensation for dentistry and optical well being Additional holiday increase with length of service Team building and activity days Monthly employee value-based recognition award monetary gift Health, wellbeing and social calendar of events Long service awards Enhanced maternity and paternity This is an exciting opportunity to be part of Irwin M&Es continual growth.
