About the Role:
Intervl Group is recruiting on behalf of a rapidly growing Industrial and Commercial solar company for an experienced Project Manager to oversee solar installation projects across the UK. This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic individual with a strong electrical background and experience in managing solar installations to join a forward-thinking company at the forefront of the renewable energy sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of solar installation projects for industrial and commercial clients across multiple UK sites.
- Lead project teams to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of installations, while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
- Coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure all technical specifications and deadlines are met.
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress, assess risks, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources, ensuring financial control and accountability.
- Provide regular updates and reports to senior management, identifying potential project risks and solutions.
- Ensure all electrical installations are completed in accordance with industry standards and regulations.
- Liaise with clients to build strong relationships and ensure customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in project management within the solar energy sector, specifically on industrial and commercial projects.
- A solid electrical background, with relevant qualifications (such as NVQ Level 3, 18th Edition, or similar).
- Strong understanding of electrical installations and solar PV systems.
- Experience in leading project teams and managing subcontractors on multiple sites.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage time and resources effectively.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Flexibility to travel extensively across the UK, with overnight stays where required.
