Finance Manager

My client is a large FMCG business based in Manchester City Centre. Due to a secondment they are recruiting this role on a 12 month fixed term contract basis but the organisation is going through a period of rapid growth so the role could well become permanent should both parties be interested in this.

As a Finance Manager you will be focused primarily on controls and the balance sheet. You will analyse the existing controls to ensure they are fit for purpose and offer solutions and improvement ideas wherever possible to improve them. You will also focus on clearing up the balance sheet and complete complex reconciliations, as well as use/create a balance sheet reconciliation tool. There will also be lots of key stakeholder engagement involved with the position but no people management.

This role will suit a candidate who has experience managing controls and focusing on clearing up the balance sheet. The salary on offer is paying up to £60,000 with an attractive benefits package that includes hybrid working, flexible hours and a generous holiday entitlement.
