A look into the role Henderson Wholesale is a leading Wholesaler in Northern Ireland and supplies goods to over 450 stores across various brands such as SPAR, EUROSPAR and VIVO. We source from local farmers, growers and producers and are proud to contribute to our local economy and environment. The Purpose of the role: The main purpose of this role is to support the efficient operation of a busy accounts department by managing key financial processes. You will be responsible for processing a high volume of invoices, ensuring accuracy in data entry, and adhering to payment deadlines. Working as Accounts Administrator you will: Process invoices to authorise payments Code and verify invoices Review and reconcile supplier statements File invoices and statements Handle retailer and supplier inquiries Utilise computerised systems for efficient task management Maintain proficiency in IT systems alongside numerical skills Skills for Success Joining us as Accounts Administrator the minimum criteria youll need is: A minimum of 5 GCSEs, including Maths and English, or an equivalent qualification Previous experience working in an accounting department Demonstrable experience with reconciliation and purchase ledger Strong computer literacy skills, with a particular focus on Excel and spreadsheet applications The Attributes youll need include: Be able to prioritise workload and have good organisational skills A flexible approach to work and adaptability to different job roles Demonstrate excellent communication skills and be a team player It is Desirable if you have: Familiarity with various accounting software packages Are we right for you? This is a full-time position working 36.5 hours per week. Working hours will be 8:45am-4:45pm Monday to Thursday and 8:45am-3:45pm Friday. Hybrid and flexible working arrangement available.
