A long established City firm

THE ROLE

A lawyer is sought to join the Public Procurement and Commercial Contracts team in London

The Projects Team is part of the wider Real Estate and Projects Team and you will work on wide variety of transactions covering a range of matters including public procurement, commercial contracts, IP/IT, joint ventures, and public-private partnership projects.

The strong preference is that team members commit to coming into the office for a minimum of three days per week.

ABOUT YOU

A solicitor 3pqe+ you will have experience in public procurement and commercial contracts.

The role has a strong focus on the provision of public procurement advice for contracting authorities, though the successful candidate would also be required to assist with a broad range of general commercial contract work, including goods and services contracts, IT supply and support agreements, and PFI/PPP contract work.

The successful candidate will display strong technical ability and matter management skills, will enjoy working both as part of a team and independently and be able to demonstrate a flair for nurturing relationships along with enthusiasm, drive, and a commercial approach.

This role would suit someone currently working in-house in a local authority or similar and who is looking to move into private practice.

The firm offers hybrid working but the strong preference is that team members commit to coming into the office for a minimum of three days per week.
