Are you experienced in managing indirect supplier contract? Looking for a new challenge in an established and growing financial services organisation?
We are currently recruiting a Buyer to your our client on a full time permanent basis. This role is based in West Malling and offers hybrid working following successful completion of probation.
This role is playing £28,000 - £32,000 per annum.
Key Responsibilities for the Buyer:
- Supporting the purchasing manager
- Raising Purchase Orders
- Managing supplier contracts/quotes at time of renewal and flagging to relevant teams
- Carrying out stringent due diligence for suppliers ensuring all relevant insurance/policy documents are filed accurately
- Negotiating with existing supplier contracts to ensure you are getting the best price
- Covering all indirect services, i.e. IT providers, Facilities, HR, Marketing etc.
Key Skills for the Buyer:
- At least 2 years experience in a Buying/Procurement or Purchasing role.
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Strong negotiation skills
- Confident, self starter
