Job Specification
Stock Management
- Take charge of monthly stock checks for our vibrant warehouses in the UK and Amsterdam, ensuring our dry goods and bottled stock are always spot on.
- Keep our company records up-to-date regarding dispatches and receipts—accuracy is key!
- Collaborate with our European sales team to meet stock requirements and seamlessly manage transfers to our Amsterdam warehouse.
- Reconcile actual stock with third-party reports to maintain integrity in our records.
- Update dry goods stock post-bottling and tackle any discrepancies with agility.
- Review and approve storage invoices, ensuring smooth operations
Customer/Distributor Liaison
- Welcome new customers with a seamless registration process.
- Serve as the go-to contact for documentation requirements, deliveries, and any discrepancies.
- Navigate the sales process from order to completion, ensuring everything runs like clockwork.
- Issue invoices and monthly statements to keep our clients informed and satisfied.
Transport Management
- Take the reins on all transport logistics:
- Coordinate empty cask deliveries to spirit filling sites.
- Manage full casks between bonded warehouses and bottling halls.
- Oversee the transport of bottled stock to customers with precision.
- Obtain transport quotes, book logistics, and ensure seamless communication with warehouses and destinations.
- Review and approve transport invoices to keep our accounts in check.
Sales Order Processing
- Dive into processing sales orders using Sage, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.
- Craft and send proforma invoices to our importers with flair.
- Manage the creation of certificates and paperwork for export orders, making sure everything is in order.
- Keep an eye on internal stock transfers, providing insightful reports.
Samples & Trade Show Event Management
- Collaborate with our sales team to coordinate samples that showcase our products.
- Work hand-in-hand with the sales and marketing teams to ensure impactful events.
- Compile essential paperwork and arrange stock supply for trade shows, helping us shine in the spotlight.
