Salary – Basic Salary £38 – 43K, bonus structure; company pension; 25 days holiday

The Role:
Reporting to the General Manager the hands on Operations Manager will lead a continuous improvement operation/culture that meets the needs of the customer while supporting growth, improving efficiency, and minimizing risk to the business. To ensure value for money is achieved in all operational expenditure while overseeing and maintaining all health safe legal requirements.
Role Responsibilities:
Stock Control
Responsible for ensuring all SPI’s are followed and to identify procedural inefficiencies, develop solutions and implement improvements.
Equipment
Responsible for the maintenance of all equipment and Warehouse Assets and for service providers to be cost effective.
Production Control
Responsible for the efficiency of production and the quality of the goods produced.
Customer Service
Responsible for identifying and resolving delays to service and to develop operating practices to support growth.
Transportation & Drivers
Ensure company compliance of all transport policies, legislation and procedures including Tacos and Drivers Hours
Operations Managers are responsible for the compliance of the operator’s license and driver training.
Ensure delivery routes are optimised and 3PLs managed cost effectively
Health & Safety
Operation Managers are responsible for the upkeep of procedures and ongoing training related to Health & Safety in the workplace.
People & Development
Responsible for all training and development of the warehouse team.
This role needs an individual who has track record and a passion for delivering operational excellence. The business needs a person who will identify and deliver change in order to produce enhanced business results.
