A truly unique opportunity to join a market leading facilities management business in the role of Account Manager for a prestigious single site retail contract based in Central London.

The Account Manager is a key role for the business where you will be pivotal in developing, maintaining, and enhancing relationships with the client and key stakeholders. The expectation is that you will provide excellent Operational leadership ultimately be responsible for the smooth day to day running of the contract. A cleaning background with previous experience working in a retail environment would be a huge advantage.

This is a single site soft service contract. Due to the nature of the contract the contract runs almost 365 days per year. It would be beneficial if the AM had good experience of working in a busy fast paced environment with very high standards.

The contract itself consists of 1 large retailer based in London where you will oversee a team of up to 12 staff.

Other responsibilities will include;

Accountable for the financial performance of the contract

Ensure that all risks relating to (SHEQ) safety, health, environment and quality are effectively managed

Recruitment, Retention and staff training and performance monitoring

Develop effective working relationships with operational personnel, business partners, suppliers and sub-contractors

Ensure a strong relationship is maintained with the clients, staff, and subcontractors.

Set, monitor and control SLA’s

Seeking out potential growth opportunities within the contract where possible

Maintaining a positive and successful relationship with the client will be your primary responsibility. You will be expected to work closely with the client to ensure a close working partnership is maintained.

Candidate Profile;

Proven/Successful background managing a retail cleaning contract

5 years + Experience working within the Facilities Management sector.

Excellent communication skills

Hardworking & Driven individual committed to the job.

Commercially aware – Sound ability to spot opportunities.
