We’re looking for a talented and motivated Commercial Solicitor to join the legal team of our fast-paced green tech business.

We’ve provided a wide range of renewable energy solutions to consumers and businesses for over a decade including solar panels, electric vehicle technology and other home energy saving products.

The role:

You’ll work closely with the General Counsel and key stakeholders to understand our business goals and deliver pragmatic legal advice to help us meet them.

You will be responsible for:

1. Reviewing and drafting a broad range of contracts such as NDAs, lead generation contracts and supply agreements
2. Managing the legal inbox and providing prompt and sensible advice on a wide variety of legal issues including dispute resolution and property queries
3. Making sure our customer Ts and Cs are kept up to date
4. Supporting other teams round the business e.g. HR/finance/commercial
5. Gaining an understanding of our regulatory obligations towards the FCA/HIES/EPVS so you can support the business with queries
6. Horizon scanning on changes to the law, training the business where required

Essential skills:

• Qualified to practice as a solicitor in England and Wales with at least 4 years post qualification experience
• In-depth experience of reviewing, drafting and negotiating commercial contracts
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Nice to have:

• Experience in renewable energy
• FCA knowledge and experience
